Gnash/Art

These posts will consist mainly of my artwork, but will also be interspersed with short films, computer graphics, and other random art I am interested in.

Woah…

Absolutely gorgeous design, modeling, and camera work. This really capitalizes on the best aspects of the sci-fi genre.

Dali combines two images to create a new interpretation. I like how the skulls teeth act as the girls dress.

Red Vine Tree - made by ART 140 Students

lniedergang:

This is what our class came up with for our Installation project. First off, I think that installations are a great idea for this building. I think that from an architectural standpoint, this is one of the least exciting buildings on campus. It feels like my old middle school with its poorly painted, white cinder block and the narrow hall ways. You would think the art building would be a little more creative. When we were brainstorming for this project, we found materials that were cheap and abundant, and then decided what we wanted to do with them. We narrowed it down to Red vines or post-it notes. From there, we each thought of a few ideas and presented them to the group. One student presented the idea of a tree made out of red vines. After deciding on the project, we needed a place to put it. The landing of the stairs was the perfect place because it would attract a lot of attention, provided different viewing angles, and gave us multiple walls to play with.
